The cost of these tournaments are ridiculous!
Hawks are running a qualifier with NO REFUNDS for $600. $600!!! What the heck is going on here!

I don't know for sure, but didn't everyone want fences, etc. at qualifiers. Those cost money to rent, etc.

I don't know for sure, but didn't everyone want fences, etc. at qualifiers. Those cost money to rent, etc. Is that the excuse we are going to use. Rental costs for fences. Please. What about no refunds? Why can't there be a refund if rained out? Even if renting fences costs an extra $1,000, you have 15-20 teams paying an extra $100 in entry fee. I'm not a math guru but that generates a profit for doing what they should of been doing for all the past tournaments they have been running!

Rental of fences don't even cost that much depending on the park.

Fences can be bought for between 600-1200 per field. I think that's reasonable

It's a shame that not all park districts have fences. Would make it easier for teams to host tournaments. Naperville and Elgin do great with their assistance by putting up fences.

How many tournaments do these people run a season....6 or 8? Buy the fences. They will payoff in the long run. All you need is those temp cloth fences and posts. This is not that hard people.

I wonder if there is some sort of Title IX issue that could be brought up for the park district fields?

I can only speak for our program but we have talked with a few park districts and even if we buy them they will not allow them on their fields. Kinda weird I think. Games are a little bit more pure when on a fenced field.
