Glenbard South is always a contender. In the Bigger classes, DGN has to break thru sometime, Trinity is gonna be good as well. Surprise teams will be the Valleys (Minus Metea). Glenbard North, Bartlett will always be right there too.
Down South, Usual Suspects, Lockport, Sandburg, marist

I wouldn't be shocked to see providence make noise in 4a this year. Oak forest, RB, marango, GBS ALL are good 3A schools. Don't forget powers like moline and Bellville east in 4

Burlington Central will be a handful in 3A.

I agree. Morrow is a great pitcher and with that speed they have in the lineup they will be a tough out.

What will make B.C. strong will be their pitching. Besides having Morrow they have a Jr. who is very good ( beat G.B.S last year ) and possible one of the top freshman pitchers in the Chicago area, saw her pitch a lot at fall Metro 16u for Wasco ( on Morrows team ). Having 3 strong, look for no one to get over worked. Hitting will be questionable, they did lose 3 big bats to go play college ball.
At 4A I would say look out for Barrington, also good pitching returning for them.

I'd take any one of the three and be happy.

Glenbard south will still be tough. Wish they could play 4A. Would give a lot of big teams trouble. Each out for moline as usual.

PC always has a strong team but they have to move back to 4A this year so it will be a little tougher road for them.

What are Marist's chances on repeating?
They add Nagel this year who had to sit out due to transfer.

Marist lost a lot of talent. Still some good young kids there. If Nagle was gonna pitch, I'd say they hav a shot. But pitching will be there big hole to fill.
